Putting a Spin on Community
A business doesn’t stay around for 90 years by keeping to themselves. At Spin Linen we’re in the business of providing clean uniforms, linens, and products to members of the hospital, restaurant, and hotel industries. We pride ourselves on servicing these vital businesses. Strong communities depend on strong businesses - and strong businesses depend on strong communities.
Live - Work - Play
Spin Linen is far from a large corporation. We’re a family-owned and -operated independent business with ties to the community. Where you choose to live, work and play is where our employees do the same.
We like to think we’re part of something bigger than just the business. We’re part of organizations that support our local communities and industries.
At Spin, we’re proud members of TRSA (Textile Rental Service Association), ORA (Omaha Restaurant Association), Nebraska Restaurant Association, Iowa Restaurant Association, Omaha Chamber of Commerce, and the BBB (Better Business Bureau).
But more importantly, we put our money back into the community. Just this summer we were proud donors of the Maha Festival, “...an annual celebration of Music + Discovery in Omaha, Nebraska.”
Spinning for 90 Years… And Counting
It all started in 1932. Formerly named Spic & Span Linen Supply, the business started as a dry cleaning and shirt laundry company in downtown Omaha and has since branched out to the surrounding Omaha areas, along with Lincoln, Nebraska City, Wahoo, Blair, Plattsmouth, Fremont, Grand Island, Hastings, Kearney and Elkhorn, Nebraska, as well as Council Bluffs and Des Moines, Iowa.
With more than 800 customers locally, Spin has grown, but without compromising our high service standards and excellent product quality - all at a fair price.
But none of it could have been accomplished without the communities, industries, and employees all backing what was once a small dry cleaning business in Omaha.
Here’s to another 90 years - in the best community a business could ask for!
